Cookies & local storage
Meshez uses essential cookies and device storage to keep the app working. This release does not embed advertising networks or third-party tracking pixels.
Sign-in cookies
The HttpOnly session cookie authenticates requests. “Keep me signed in” uses a rolling 30-day session, capped at 180 days from sign-in; otherwise the browser cookie is session-only. Signing out revokes the session. Separate short-lived cookies support two-factor challenges, device sign-in and the site administrator panel.
Preferences and device storage
Local storage may hold theme preferences and local AI connection settings. The desktop app keeps an isolated browser profile with its own cookies and settings. Clearing cookies or app storage can sign you out and remove device preferences; it does not delete your online account. Public page views are counted in aggregate on the server.
Your controls
Use your browser’s storage controls, sign out, or revoke devices in account settings. Essential storage is needed for authentication. If nonessential analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, this notice and the consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.
